From the Director of Boarding

It was certainly a weekend of variety for all the boarders. They were busy with musicals, camping and debating. It was a tiring weekend for all.

On Friday morning, Toni, Anne and Fiona helped Mr Steven distribute Oliver leaflets to incoming parents. Later in the morning the Year 10 boarders left for their IA camp at FRIMS. They returned on Saturday evening tired but happy.

The Year 12 boarders left for their IA camp after lunch and they returned on Sunday evening. The only complaint from all campers was the number of leaches wanting their blood.

Arissa and Wi Kiat were involved in a Model United Nations Conference at Nottingham University from Friday to Sunday night. They both received awards for their outstanding contribution to the weekend.

The musical “Oliver” has attracted many boarders to the production. Jo Yee and Aiman have acting parts while Mohamed has been busy painting a bridge for the props. Alex and Liam have been busy as stagehands. It is good to see so many boarders involved. I suggest parents book a ticket to see this musical.
