Singles’ Pool Champion Crowned

Thursday, April 5, 2018
On Monday evenings throughout this term Mr Troy has officiated the Boarding Single’s Pool Competition which attracted sixteen participants. including female boarders Durra, Elisa, Ivaan and Jessica.
At the conclusion of round-robin and semi-final play, Terence battled Dream in a best of three games final. After each winning a game apiece, Terence overcome Dream in the deciding match in what proved to be a tense and exciting finals night.

Cinema & Shopping at Mid Valley
Due to the unforeseen late cancellation trip to Bangi Wonderland, we decided to make use of our coach booking and head to the cinema as well as have the opportunity to eat out and shop at Mid Valley. Boarders opted to watch either the newly released movies Lee Chong Wei or Tomb Raider. The former is a biographical film about the inspirational story of Malaysian icon Lee Chong Wei who rose from complete poverty to become the top badminton player in the world. Tomb Raider on the other hand is a fantasy/action film that like the previous movies featuring character Lara Croft is exhilarating even with some far-fetched scenes.

Cookies & Ice Cream Work a Treat
Ms Bobby provided ingredients including chocolate chips and M&M’s for some boarders to exhibit their baking skills on Saturday evening. Cookies of all sizes were baked and then decorated, topped off with ice-cream, whipped cream and chocolate or strawberry sauce.

Boarding House Photo
We all gathered out the front of the Boarding House after breakfast last week for our annual photo. After many takes and uniform alterations we finally posed for the (almost) perfect photoshoot!
