Our Curriculum

International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC)
The International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) uses international best practices, holistic enquiry, and play-based approaches that cover all curriculum areas including personal, social, and emotional development.
International Primary Curriculum (IPC)
The IPC brings rigour and deep engagement of learning through an authentic thematic approach. Designed to prepare learners for a successful future, it focuses on academic learning and explicitly develops the whole child's personal qualities and characteristics including international mindedness.
Nexus Middle School Programme
The NMSP is taught around ‘Big Ideas’ or concepts, designed to challenge learners to make connections, think independently and critically, and apply knowledge to real life situations. Learners progress in this curriculum to become self-motivated and enquiring learners, ready for the IGCSE examinations.
IGCSE
The IGCSE is the most popular international qualification for upper Secondary and is recognised worldwide by employers and universities as evidence of academic ability. The curriculum provides a broad study programme that covers a broad range of subjects.
IB Diploma Programme (IBDP)
A holistic pre-university course that combines unique academic rigour and an emphasis on personal development, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Course does more than other courses by developing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who are motivated to succeed.

Nexus achieved an outstanding average score of 35 points in the 2022 IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) examinations, well above the 2021 worldwide average score. The school is proud of the achievement of one of its biggest and most diverse IB graduating cohort ever, with learners from 13 different nationalities offering a truly international experience for learners.

Three learners, Danae Zhang, Gopika Valappil and Tan Xun Khang who hail from China, United Kingdom and Malaysia respectively, achieved 44 points, just 1 point from the maximum score possible (45 points) for the IB Diploma Programme. Nine learners achieved 40 points and above, which has enabled Nexus learners to attend the universities of choice, many with scholarships.
