Our respective Boarding and Eco Councils along with boarding’s Food Committee were announced recently as members take responsibility in ensuring that their peers have the opportunity to provide feedback which will enable changes if required, or new initiatives to be introduced. Houseparents look forward to working with all council and committee members this term.

As part of Boarding’s Weekly Wellbeing program, boarders are offered nutritional advice and tips every Wednesday evening, and so far those who have attended have made healthy protein balls and smoothies which most of the house have enjoyed.



Finally, last Saturday most boarders who stayed in-house signed up to attend the Swiss Dream Circus at Desa Park, and the spectacular show did not disappoint!

All acts were superb as the performers from Europe and the United States had the audience fully engaged and slightly nervous, especially as they witnessed the act on the Wheel of Death in which the sole performer made daring jumps from as high up as ten metres!

Another highlight was the young troupe Extreme Light who entertained us with a combination of artistry and dance, with their unique choreography and LED-illuminated costumes.
