Living In Malaysia
Welcome to Malaysia
Living around Nexus
Putrajaya: A modern city
Putrajaya is Malaysia’s administrative capital, known for its modern design, green spaces and government offices. Along with the nearby Klang Valley, it attracts expatriates from all over the world to live and work in a vibrant and diverse community. Moving to a new city usually takes around six months to adjust, so we encourage families to get involved in school, expat and local groups. At Nexus International School Malaysia, our welcoming international community is always here to support new families.
For those considering long-term residency, the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Programme, promoted by the government, allows eligible foreigners to reside in Malaysia on a renewable multiple-entry Social Visit Pass for up to ten years. The MM2H Centre, located conveniently in Putrajaya, offers guidance on the application process and related information.
