From Nexus to Cambridge

Meet Kayato, a Nexus graduate whose remarkable journey from the Nexus classroom to the prestigious University of Cambridge is driven by his deep passion for physics, research, and education.

During his time at Nexus, Kayato thrived as both a learner and a leader. Beyond excelling academically, he was actively involved in the school community—running clubs, leading student initiatives, and contributing meaningfully to service projects. His commitment to inquiry and innovation made him a standout in both the sciences and in leadership roles.

With an eye on scientific discovery and a heart for teaching, he continues to inspire others through his love of learning and his unwavering drive to contribute to the world and make a global impact in STEM.

Kayato’s story reflects the essence of the #NexusWay—empowering students to lead, explore their passions, and pursue purposeful futures.

“Nexus helped me grow not just as a student, but as someone who can lead and give back,” says Kayato.
We are proud to celebrate Kayato’s journey and can’t wait to see the impact he will make in the world of science and beyond.Watch this video about Kayato’s story here.
