Co-curricular Activities

At Nexus International School Malaysia, we believe that learning goes far beyond the classroom. Our Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) programme provides every learner with the opportunity to discover new passions, develop lifelong skills and nurture personal qualities such as teamwork, leadership, and resilience.

Co-Curricular
Activities

With over 70 co-curricular activities (CCAs), Nexus learners have a world of opportunities — from team sports like football and individual pursuits such as Taekwondo, to vibrant experiences in the Performing Arts. Activities are either free of charge or paid, depending on whether sessions are led by internal or external coaches.

In the Primary School, CCAs encourage young learners to explore their interests and develop new skills through fun and engaging experiences such as LEGO, Coding for Kids, Eco Club, Drama, Art & Craft and a variety of sports including swimming, athletics and team sports. These opportunities help build confidence, teamwork and creativity from an early age.

More than 20 CCAs are also learner-led, especially by our IB Diploma learners fulfilling their CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) requirements. This provides authentic opportunities to lead, organise and inspire their peers while developing real-world skills valued by top universities.

We also offer dedicated academic support in Sciences, Mathematics, and Languages, along with preparation for academic competitions. Learners aspiring to study medicine benefit from our Medics Society, which provides specialised guidance and mentorship for future medical pathways.
