Science Experiment: Raising Raisins

What you need

  • Raisins
  • Vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Water
  • Beaker
  • Spoon

Optional

  • Food colouring

What to do

  1. Fill the beaker with a cup of water
  2. (Optional) Stir in a few drops of food colouring
  3. Add one tablespoon of baking soda into the water
  4. Drop a few raisins into the beaker
  5. Pour vinegar into the mixture
  6. Watch closely and see what happens next!
