Key Requirements

Visa Guidance

Guardian Visa applications for Malaysia require proof of monthly income, supported by relevant financial documentation and subject to approval by the Malaysian Immigration Department.

For families applying to Nexus International School Malaysia, please note that the minimum required balance in the parent/guardian’s bank account for the Federal Territory of Putrajaya is RM10,000.

As immigration requirements may change and approvals are at the discretion of Immigration authorities, we encourage families to review these requirements carefully before making an enquiry or starting the application process.

Year Group Placement

Nexus International School Malaysia welcomes learners from aged 3 and above with entry available throughout the academic year.

Like most international schools in Malaysia, our students will be placed in their year groups based on their age and the academic year they are enrolling in.

To ensure you get the right information for your family, we suggest that you start by identifying which stage and year group your child will be entering the school and then reading the relevant information for that stage.

To guide you in planning your child’s enrolment at Nexus International School Malaysia, we have outlined the schedule of term dates and holiday periods for the academic year.

Nexus follows the Northern Hemisphere academic calendar, running from August to June, with the school year divided into three terms. Our annual calendar is thoughtfully planned to include various activities, competitions and events organised for our learners.

David has almost 30 years experience in teaching and leadership. He is a facilitator and coach with the International Leadership and Management Programme (ILMP) for Middle and Senior Leaders both within and outside of Asia as well as being guest speaker at several events.
