Nexus Talents: Aaliyah Yoong

Aaliyah Yoong bagged four gold medals at the recently concluded 2019 Singha IWWF Asian Waterski & Wakesports Championship which was held from 23rd to 29th September 2019. The 16 year old athlete competed in the Open Category which includes contestants from all age groups.
Just a month back, Aaliyah brought pride to the nation by winning a few titles in the 2019 Waterski World Championship. These include Best Asian Award, 1st in Open Women Tricks, 1st in Open Women Jump, 1st in Open Women Slalom and 1st in Open Women Overall. It was an amazing achievement considering the tournament participants numbered the very best competitors around the world.
We will be seeing more of Aaliyah when she competes at the SEA Games soon. All the best Aaliyah in bringing back the Gold again for Malaysia!
