IB Diploma Results 2025

Nexus International School proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of our learners in the 2025 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), achieving an impressive average score of 33—well above the global average of 30.58.

A total of seven Nexus learners scored 40 points or higher, a benchmark of academic excellence. Representing a diverse community, these top scorers include Malaysian, Korean, and Japanese learners. Notably, 60% of them have been with Nexus for an average of six years. 

Our dedicated Higher Education Counsellor has also been instrumental in supporting university applications, with the Class of 2025 securing over USD 1 million in scholarships to date.

 

IBDP Top Achievers

We are especially proud of Nexus learners Simon Kim, Lim Jac Huey, Ng Yong Je, and Nicole Ooi, who each achieved an outstanding 43 points out of a possible 45 in the IBDP. Their future pathways are as diverse as they are inspiring—Simon will pursue Aeronautical Engineering, Jac Huey is heading into Marine Biology, Yong Je will study Dentistry, while Nicole is taking a gap year to explore academic and service opportunities before beginning her university journey.

Graduates from Nexus continue to secure placements at prestigious universities worldwide, including institutions in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Korea, Japan, and across Europe and Asia.

About the Nexus IB Diploma Programme

The IB Diploma Programme is a rigorous, two-year pre-university qualification recognised by universities worldwide. It encourages students aged 16 to 19 to develop strong academic, personal and global citizenship skills through six subject groups and a core comprising the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS).
