Early Morning Park Run Kicks Off The Weekend
Monday, December 3, 2018
On Saturday morning Mr Dan took some boarders to the Putrajaya Park Run to begin the day in positive fashion by participating in a fun 5km run. The Park Run started at 7.30am as competitors tried to avoid the intense heat and humidity. The course is run on a flat and beautiful scenic route in Presint 18 along Putrajaya lakeside to Masjid Putra and back.
Year 13 boarder Jun finished the run in 10th place out of 104 runners overall. Well done Jun!
I-City - City of Lights
On Saturday evening, we went to I-City. When we arrived there we had two hours free time, so we could play on whatever we wanted. First we went to play on the ‘private ship’, we didn’t wait for too long as there wasn’t too many people waiting in line. The ship starts moving, and slowly get faster and higher. Once it reaches the highest point, I heard one of my friend are screaming in terror (HAHA it was so funny!). The ship slowly slows down meaning the ride is nearing its end.
We then ordered ‘Subway’, before deciding to play ‘Disco Motor’, I was so scared that my glasses would fall off. When it was our turn I quickly tightened my seatbelt and felt so excited. The ‘Disco Motor’ started moving, and slowly gets faster and faster as my heart rate increased. I was so scared. When the ride ended I felt dizzy but happy that it had finished.
The night was fun and I shared good times with my friends. I hope I can go there again soon.

Brunch Club
In this week’s Brunch Club we made Coconut Porridge with Caramelised Bananas, Blueberries, Blueberry Compote, Nut Butter, Dried Fruits and Mixed Nuts and Seeds.
It was a delicious, healthy and balanced brunch that we made using the coconut milk to make the porridge so that the oats absorb that delicious coconut flavour and then it was an abundance of toppings to bring in other delicious flavours which were healthy additions.
This was a super easy recipe and the longest part is waiting for the oats to absorb all of that coconut milk which takes about 20-30 minutes.
The rest is just fun assembly with the most enjoyable part to finish - healthy eating.
