A Time Capsule for the Future

Have you ever wondered what you would put in a time capsule? Recently, the learners from the Intensive English Programme participated in a Time Capsule project as part of their submission to the ETS TOEFL.
The project encouraged the learners to think about their future and how our lives will be different then. Divided into groups, the learners presented a fascinating list of items they would put in a box, which they hope will be found again in 2050. They took the time to reflect on their chosen items and considered why these things will be important for the people in 2050 to know about.
Overall, the learners enjoyed the Time Capsule project and the element of mystery that comes with it. Let’s hope the future historians will be intrigued by what they discover in 2050!
