Nexus awarded the Wellbeing Award for Schools (WAS)

Nexus was recently awarded the Wellbeing Award for Schools (WAS). We are honoured to receive this recognition!
Developed by Optimus Education from the UK, the Wellbeing Award for Schools (WAS) adopted by over 1000 schools worldwide, provides formal recognition that Nexus has met very high standards of provision for emotional wellbeing and mental health.
The award provides Nexus with a rigorous framework for implementing a range of strategies to bring about positive change for the wellbeing and mental health across the whole school which includes learners, staff, parents and the wider community.
The award is also a great recognition for the efforts of Nexus Wellbeing team who have continuously developed and improved the school's wellbeing and mental health programmes through classroom lessons, extra curricular activities, professional learning, parent workshops, boarding activities and building links with other organisations and schools.
Congratulations to the Nexus Community and special thanks to the wellbeing team for their contributions that allowed us to be presented with such a prestigious award. Way to go! 👏
