Busy Week in Boarding

Most boarders left last Friday afternoon for a long weekend due to the Thaipusam Public Holiday. A handful of boys who were representing the school U15 basketball side did however stay overnight as they were playing three matches on Saturday. The team which included Dickson, Dening, Wei-Young and Terence played extremely well.

Parent/teacher conversations have been held for Year 9 and 13 learners over the week, and mock exams have just been completed for our senior learners.

A majority of boarders assisted with decorating the main common room and boarding house entrance in preparation for Chinese New Year.

We completed our first round of the Singles Pool Competition on Wednesday evening, with good interest from the boarders. Round-robin matches will be played until we see who the finallists are towards the end of the term. A trophy will be awarded to the overall individual winner.

Finally, a gentle reminder to parents/guardians that we have Chinese New Year holiday fast approaching with boarders required to leave before 5pm on Friday February 5th and they may return from 3pm on Wednesday 10th.
