Floor Outings
Schubert, Martin and Hampshire Floors opted to visit the cinema and enjoy a meal together afterwards as their end of term Floor Outing last week.
On Monday Mr Troy and his boys watched the superhero film ‘Black Panther’ which did disappoint along with the popcorn, drink and curry puffs that all were treated to. Ms Bobby and the girls from Hampshire visited D’Pulze to view ‘Red Sparrow’, an American spy thriller film, which preceded a splendid meal at a local Korean restaurant.
Martin Floor and Mr Dan watched ‘Ready Player One’, Steven Spielberg’s new film, on opening night. The film lived up to all expectations and had some great underlying messages running throughout. Afterward they headed down to Putrajaya Lake to eat an array of local Malay delicacies at the Food Truck Stop.
Ms Sarah and the Griffiths Floor girls organised a slightly different floor outing as they decided to stay on site and have a pool and pizza party. Some of the girls headed down to the local village to buy some snacks, drinks and ice cream to start the evening off and then all the girls gathered at the swimming pool with a selection of inflatables ready for some fun. The girls stayed in the pool with the music pumping loud for a couple of hours before loads of pizza was delivered to finish a very enjoyable evening.

Primary Sports Day
Year Five boarders Miles and Alissa along with Mr Troy and Ms Bobby’s son Carter who is in Year Four, returned back to boarding with a bundle of medals following the Nexus Primary Sports Day.
Miles won gold medals for Long Jump, Javelin and 800 metres as well as picking up a silver medal for the boys’ 4 x 100m relay.
Alissa collected three gold medals after winning the 100m, 400m and 800m girls’ races.
Carter hauled in four gold medals for winning High Jump, Shot Put, 3 Spring Jump and the 4 x 100m boys’ relay. He also received a bronze medal for Long Jump.
A fabulous and an awesome effort by the trio.
