School Ball
Despite the year coming to an end soon, the boarders have been very busy, not just on weekends but also during the week. Arissa, Kenneth, Wi Kiat and many other boarders have been preparing for the NISPMUN Conference.
Last Sunday the first of the “Taste of Boarding” participants commenced their stay in boarding. There were eleven boys and girls who found that staying in boarding can be an enjoyable experience.
The highlight of the last weekend was the School Ball. The following report describes it in detail:
Hair, dresses, heels, suits, ties and bows. 29th July 2013 was definitely a memorable day for all boarders, as that was the day of the Nexus End of Year Ball, themed "Gold Forever". The boarders arrived at the Palace of Golden Horses (slightly late due to the heavy traffic) and entered the ballroom, clad in elegant dresses or smart-looking suits. The ball was certainly enjoyed by everyone who attended, not only because of the international buffet served, but also because everyone could dance to their heart's content; dancing to popular hits on the dance floor together with their friends. It was truly a night to remember, and on behalf of all the boarders, I will like to thank Sharmaine and all the others involved, for making the ball a great success. Gold Forever!
