Saturday was a rainy day but it didn’t dampen our spirits in boarding. The long weekend started with lots of our boarders choosing to enjoy some exercise. The fitness suite was used by some of our senior boarders whilst the others took to the sports hall to play badminton and basketball in the morning.

In the afternoon we watched the tense World Cup rugby match between New Zealand and England while some of the boarders also got creative with hama beads, whilst others played board games.



The IB boarders headed out with Mr Duncan and Mr David H in the evening to the Nights of Fright at Sunway Lagoon. This was an activity chosen by the IB boarders themselves and despite the rain they all had a great time!



On Wednesday evening we celebrated Deepavali with a traditional Indian meal. Afterwards many boarders took up the opportunity to have ​Mehndi​ designs painted on their hands​, ​and then we all settled in to watch the Indian Hindi drama film ​I am Kalam w​ hich is a must watch with the family.

Special mention must be made to some of our Year 11’s who designed a stunning Rangoli pattern using coloured rice and flower petals.
