On Friday, 25 April 2025, Nexus International School Malaysia had the privilege of hosting the FOBISIA JAWS: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) conference, a pivotal event that brought together over 30 educators from leading international schools across Malaysia, Thailand, and South Korea.

Setting the Stage: The Power of Inclusive Education
The day began with a compelling keynote by Anne Abraham, Founder and Chairperson of LeadWomen, who spoke on The Strategic Advantage of DEI in Academia. Her address underscored the critical role DEI plays in driving innovation, building community, and preparing students for a rapidly evolving global landscape.

A highlight of the day was the strong presence of Nexus educators, who led sessions that reflected deep expertise and a clear commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education.
