Having grown up and gone to university in the UK, I completed my teacher training through the Teach First programme in London. After several years there, working in an inner city state school I moved to Peru to work for an independent British school in Lima. Here I developed a real passion for pedagogy and assessment design, working as Director of Teaching and Learning.
After five years in Peru, I took up a Deputy Headship at an international school in Lisbon and subsequently at Garden International School here in KL. During these years I worked on whole school curriculum, enrichment, and safeguarding practices. Having obtained my NPQH last year I now look forward to working at NISM and helping it become the best school it can be
