Teacher Simon is a mathematics specialist with over 15 years of experience in working with English language learners across Thailand and the UAE. Originally from the UK, he has supported students of all abilities to succeed in middle school, IGCSE and IB HL Mathematics. With a Mathematics degree from the University of Bath and a Master’s in Education from the University of Nottingham, he is passionate about creating inclusive classrooms where every student can build their confidence in exploring mathematical ideas.
Teacher Simon loves connecting mathematics to the world of his students — and inspires them to explore patterns, solve problems, and dream big about their futures. Curious about how technology can enhance learning, he experiments with AI tools to help students deepen understanding and strengthen retention. He joins Nexus with his wife and two teenage sons, excited to be part of a community where young mathematicians will go on to use their skills to shape Malaysia and beyond.
