Miss Samantha studied sport science and physical education at the University of Bedfordshire. Once she finished her degree she did her teacher training at Sandwich Technology School. Since completing her teacher training with excellence she has been working as a PE teacher at The Canterbury Academy. She is a qualified netball, football, swimming and trampolining coach.
Miss Samantha has worked closely and collaboratively with the Youth Sports Trust, creating resources to aid other teachers in Iraq to teach effective PE lessons across primary and secondary schools. She was a newly qualified teacher mentor within her department, where she helped new teachers to understand how to become effective practitioners.
Miss Samantha is also the key stage 3 and 4 extra curricular coordinator where she arranged fixtures and tournaments for the district. She enjoys learning new skills through continued professional development to ensure that she is up to date with all areas of PE to enable her pupils to gain the maximum out of their lessons.
