This weekend Mr Dan and Ms Sarah took our boarders into KLCC for a fun few hours in the ‘Break Out Rooms’ and also for some retail therapy at the nearby shopping mall.
A Beethovenian Concert Night with PJPO

Last Summer, Qi Xuan was thrilled to have the opportunity to play the famous Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 5 ‘The Emperor’ as the soloist accompanied by the Petaling Jaya Philharmonic Orchestra (PJPO) under the baton of Mr. Lam Siu Chong. The concert took place on the 23rd of July, 2017 at Dewan Sivik Auditorium and was attended by an audience of no less than 600 people.

We welcomed everybody back, including fourteen new boarders, and new houseparents Mr Dan and Ms Sarah to boarding after a long and relaxing summer holiday break.

Farewell to Houseparents
We all attended a farewell dinner for houseparents Mr Alex and Ms Scout who sadly will be leaving us. Mr Alex will remain in KL to work at an indoor rock-climbing facility, while Ms Scout will return back to Australia working in another boarding school. There were some kind words spoken by some boarders, thanking them for all that they have done...

SnoWalk I-City
In the weekend Mr Troy, Ms Bobby & Ms Kay transported some boarders to SnoWalk I-City, South East Asia’s first indoor winter wonderland. In a climate-controlled area at below 5 degrees Celsius with 100mm of snow underfoot, we all were treated and enjoyed the chilly yet refreshing Arctic experience.
